Mount Prospect Horse Agistment is nestled on 20 acres in a tranquil corner of the Hepburn Shire, adjacent to the Wombat State Forest. Conveniently located just 25 minutes from Ballarat and 15 minutes from Daylesford, we offer a peaceful and picturesque environment ideal for horses requiring retirement, spelling, rehabilitation, or temporary stays. Originally designed for the spelling of Standardbred racehorses, our facility now caters to a more relaxed community of equines, including those in need of specialized care and a smaller yard for rehabilitation.

With over 40 years of experience in the equine industry, we are proud to offer professional, reliable services with 24-hour supervision.  For added security, the property gates remain locked at all times, and visits are strictly by appointment only.   Please be aware that no dogs are permitted on the premises.
