Our Hospital Yard provides a calm, supportive, and expertly managed environment for horses requiring short- or long-term rest and rehabilitation. Fees reflect the intensive daily care, high-quality feed, and dedicated monitoring each horse receives.

 

​Standard Hospital Yard Package - $420 per week 

​

Includes:

• Large, secure sand-based yard

• 3m × 3m weatherproof shelter

• Twice-daily natural hard feeds

• Quality hay provided daily

• Fresh water checked and topped up

• Daily medication administration (oral | topical)

• Comfort, mobility & behaviour checks throughout the day

• Rug checks (adjustments as needed)

• Owner updates for significant changes or milestones

This package suits horses recovering from injury, illness, laminitis, ulcers or those requiring controlled movement.

 

Medication & Special Care Add-Ons - (Charged only when required)

Injectable medications (owner-supplied) $10 per administration

Bandage changes | wound care POA (depends on complexity)

Vet visit handling | attendance $20 per 30 minutes

Farrier holding $10 flat rate

Feeding Upgrades (Optional)

Extra hard feed (above the 2 included) $5 per feed

Body condition progress photos (weekly)

Owner-requested updates with photos | videos $5 per update

Weekly invoices

Payment due on receipt of invoice

A one-week bond is required to secure placement
